It is so amazing that a question of "GM and Government Ownership" turned into 231 posts and 16 pages!.

I read an article today that said the Government may end up owning 72.5%. In another article I read that our elected officials will choose who they want on the board and might even have a government employee sitting on it.

I for one will not buy a car from Government Motors (even though I like the Camaro) or Geithner Chrysler! I will turn to Ford and if they are forced to tow the Government line than I may have to look at a foreign company, gosh I hate saying that! Keep in mind that at present I own two Pontiac's and always tried to buy American.

There's always the used, umm uh pre-owned car market.
Never owned an Asian car and never will...
... and never will buy from a government-run automaker.
