Has anyone gotten the Pontiac Solstice book?

If you don't know what I mean:

Amazon.com: The Pontiac Solstice Book: Gary Witzenburg: Books

I'm curious if it's worth getting. It looks good but I can't seem to find a single excerpt

We have the book. In my opinion, it is a definite "must have" for the Solstice lover.

Very worthwhile! Information, pictures, history you can't get otherwise. The author was an insider with extensive access.

A must-have for anyone at all interested in this car.

I got mine and had it autographed by the author at the National meet in Nashville in 2007. Great book!

Must have for Sol owners. Know your car from concept, production, to your own personal sled...makes a world of diff. Knowledge is power...this one will enlighten...

Great book! This is a must have for any Solstice owner. Mine is signed by chief engineer Bruce Kosbab. I was especially impressed with Bob Lutz's first attempted test drive. Hindsight suggests they should have probably looked into it a little further. Could have saved themselves a lot of money and hassle. Haste makes waste.

What does it say about the GXP, not to sound mean or anything but I really don't care too much about the base car.

very little on the GXP other that it would be the next evolution of the solstice.....the book tracks the history of the concept, development, testing and initial production.....the book was released in 2005 about the same time as the 1K cars were being released...thus the reason for only hints of the GXP

still a great book..had ours signed by the author during the 07 national meet in Nashville...

Mine has a copyright of 2006. I bought the book about a year and a half ago. And it has an entire chapter ( chapter 4 ) dedicated to the Solstice GXP Turbo. It also has a chapter on the Saturn Sky. Even though you may think you are not interested in the base, without the base, there would have been no Solstice, no Solstice GXP or Sky. The book is the most complete I have seen regarding the "Solstice Concept" from conception to production and evolution including the GXP, Sky and now Solstice Coupe which was the original concept drawing by Franz von Holzhausen. But Bob Lutz dreamed for a long time of producing an affordable roadster.
