I would like to change my avater ( pick shown when I post on any page) ... If anyone could give me some hints of how to locate this part on this site would be very useful

There is a picture on my computer how do I make it my avater ...

Click "User CP", then in the left side, click "Edit Avatar"

You should be able to figure it out thereafter.
