[quote=cdflint;1106947]I believe Norm made the one for Werks. He just covered the front vents. He has also made special hood scoops for others. I know Phixious did one that had the cylon look. I like that mine is functional for air in and air out vents. To each their own.
Rx4thesol, I love the detail and stripes with yours.
Thank you CDFLINT. I have enjoyed the car and especially working on the car like many on this forum.
The chrome scoop is from an early 60's Austin Healey 3000 and the scoop shape emulates that of the 3000.
That is interesting. While that Austin Healey was being made at the Jensen factory (where the bodies were created) they were also producing their own car, a CV-8. The bonnet scoop on it looks a lot like the Healey item (the early CV8 had the grating in it but I left it off my car).

John your car looks awesome. I love those side scoops. IMHO they are the best looking ones I've seen. I wish someone would make these. I've taken pictures of your scoops to several body shops in my area but they won't touch it. The hood looks marvelous also. Great job on your car!!

Here is a rough of what Norm is making for me. This will be his "one scoop"option that he is bringing to market. I spoke with him yesterday and my hood has been "birthed". It came out of the mold yesterday. . Will post pics when I get her later this spring.
Can someone help me? I can't post the pic that I would like to, but I'm looking for a ruffled hood to fit a 2007 Pontiac Solstice. This is for my best friend. Thank you for any and all help you can offer in this. Please contact me via my yahoo email. laura_stinehart. Thank you
