[quote=cdflint;1106947]I believe Norm made the one for Werks. He just covered the front vents. He has also made special hood scoops for others. I know Phixious did one that had the cylon look. I like that mine is functional for air in and air out vents. To each their own.

Rx4thesol, I love the detail and stripes with yours.

Thank you CDFLINT. I have enjoyed the car and especially working on the car like many on this forum.

Here is the scoop I had done.

The chrome grill is from an early 60's Austin Healey 3000, and the shape of the scoop emulates the 3000 shape.

Love how this looks and I also love RX4thesol's scoop. Both look very cool!
The stripe and scoop combo on both cars looks really nice!!!

That is interesting. While that Austin Healey was being made at the Jensen factory (where the bodies were created) they were also producing their own car, a CV-8. The bonnet scoop on it looks a lot like the Healey item (the early CV8 had the grating in it but I left it off my car).

John your car looks awesome. I love those side scoops. IMHO they are the best looking ones I've seen. I wish someone would make these. I've taken pictures of your scoops to several body shops in my area but they won't touch it. The hood looks marvelous also. Great job on your car!!

Hi. I would like to know where you got your hood for my friend that has a 2007 Solstice. He really likes what you have on your car.

I wish I had been smart enough to snap a picture but last week I saw a Prius with a hood scoop. Going for the "cool" factor I guess. He didn't make it in my opinion.

Here is a rough of what Norm is making for me. This will be his "one scoop"option that he is bringing to market. I spoke with him yesterday and my hood has been "birthed". It came out of the mold yesterday. . Will post pics when I get her later this spring.
