I am going to be doing some performance mods and want to keep the original parts with as little use as possible.
The Solstice is NOT my daily drive car.
For now it is a Garage King/Queen

Good idea, it shows how many Sols are running fine (no major probs)
YEP
When I first got active on the Isuzu board, there were a lot of complaints about problems with the engines failing, turned out it was the engines are known for burning lots of oil, and it was people that didn't watch their oil level that were loosing their engines. Once I saw the "how many miles" thread - and saw how many Rodeos went 160K miles plus with no significant issues - that's when I new I had a keeper.

Thanks, looks like a mod helped you out already!
Looks like yours is going to be the one to watch as it goes through its modifications

I was able to take it for a trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles a week ago. I couldn't believe how comfortable it was to drive and how well it handled over the Grapevine (very fast moving 6 - 8 lane mountain pass).
The only problem that I have is that the parking brake makes a very loud rattling noise between 4000 & 6000 on the tack. And I have a squeak somewhere on the dash when I go over rough roads. They were both very minimal until I came back form the trip.
