The Coupe really isn't that appealing to me just because once you take off the removable roof you have no where to put it. Until I learned that I used to want it. Oh yeah and after learning that the entire car is the same as the convertible with a different rear deck lid I figured if I really wanted the coupe I could probably save money from my upside down trade and just buy the new rear deck. My solution was buying the Smoothline hardtop I have enjoyed it and figure that will be satisfactory for my needs:
DANG!!! I didnt even know the roof came off and if there isnt a place to put it?
Wow, I'm really in a minority!!!!!! I plan on keeping my convertible since it's a 1K car and then purchasing a coupe. I really like the targa concept. Having both cars will allow me to drop the top or just open the lid as I desire.

I just thought of something, how many people including myself traded are base solstice for the GXP. So far not to many takes on the coupe.
yeah but that is a different swap. There you actually got a different front bumper, upgraded suspension, most of the upgrades came standard in general, but the car was still a convertable and then an extra 90 hp ontop of that with better fuel economy. Here it is a different story. You get the exact same package except your top doesn't stow away anymore. You gain trunk space but that's about it. Same motor, same suspension, same brakes, same interior, same exterior. In fact like I said anyone interested in the trade in would probably save themselves some cash just finding out the part numbers and swapping the deck lid for the coupe lid and going off with that.

You guys know of course there's a an available stowable soft top though right?
Yes, and that makes it just another variant of rag top.

O.K. why cant a hardtop be made that will snap on just like the rag top. you can sto the convertable top in the trunk and hook the hard top in some brackets behind the seets and then just lock in the hard top to the same bracket as the rag top. So sort of snap on system? I'd bet some engeneer could figur this out. On good days take the hardtop off and you still have your rag in the trunck.
