Hey everyone! Just stopped back into the old stompin grounds to see who is all still here. I departed the forum last year after a short life with an '06 base aggresive. 2 reasons for the departure...mechanical nightmare and payments were too high for my wife's liking (I like to bring cars home BEFORE asking)

3 cars later and I just couldn't take it anymore. I missed the Solstice because I fell in love with the look at a car show 5 years ago in Orlando. So, last week, without permission, I went out and picked up an '07 GXP aggresive (auto) and couldn't be happier

No tranny issues this time...rear end locking up, etc. And the payment was half previous. This 07 has only 5,000 miles on it which is so sweet!

Guess now I'll have to change my avatar...signature...profile...etc = when I get around tuit.

yeah!!!!...a guy who wears the pants...awesome...better to ask for forgiveness than to beg for permission...is that testosterone I can smell in the air? Congrats and welcome back!

Congrats on the GXP, the 260HP is quite addicting out of the box, but once you see what others can do with mods...

Crap!...I really want to go to this! Unfortunately, our little City is having its annual George Washington Birthday Festival this weekend...and I gotta drive the City Commission in the Parade in one of those ZENN Electric Vehicles. Between that and all the other activities through the weekend, I won't be able to break away.

<beats chest> yeah, I wear the pants until I get home! Yep, I brought "Pheobe" home and my wife new something was up without even seen the car. It must've been my standing there shaking in fear. My wife told me to empty my pockets since she still had my prior key and fob...low and behold, I had two sets of Pontiac keys. She took one of them and left with my new car.

After an hour or so, she came back smiling and said "I like this one".

Nope, no pathetic begging on my part required. Two things helped in this situation. 1. I bought a big fat rock for her for our 10th anniversary the week prior; and 2. I took her out big-ticket dinner in the car after she drove it.

Oh, and there is a 3rd....but that came later in the evening
