License Plate Hardware

I'm getting my plates today and is there suppose to be some sort of hardware/plastic piece to screw into to put your back license plate on? My husband checked the glove compartment and nothing is in there. Now we haven't closely examined SuzyQ's rear end--hubby just said something looks missing! Can you tell it's our first brand new car--all others have been program vehicles where one plate comes off and another goes on.

There should by two nylon blocks in two of the 4 square holes in the back for you to fasten the plate to. If they aren't there go back to yuour dealer.

They were not there, so just went to Walmart and bought some for less than $1.00.

I don't know if you Arkies have to run a front plate, but if you do check this thread and I know there are others on alt. methods of plate mounting that either eliminate that big chunk of plastic or modify it for mounting in a lower location.

This is where I had my plate frame made. They do a good job. Very nice for 25-35 dollars.
