Awww Pep, he just gives you a hard time 'cause we missed you! I hope you are feeling better. It's tough when you want to go so bad but it's even tougher to make the decision that you can't run because you just plain old feel like crap and also have the fear of infecting others. I for one am glad you decided to take your germs home
Maybe if some of you guys that missed it want to get together some time we can run the first half (two sections) again. It's way more fun to run topless so we will probably have to wait until spring or a surprisingly beautiful day that comes out of nowhere.
This is a great idea! On a different day, we could also run the last two sections starting in Northport and then do a tour of a few wineries on Sound Ave. Starting in Northport it's a two hour run and then wine and lunch and more wine.

If you guys do this again give me a shout - if I'm off I'll come over. I saw sights I'd need a week to take in. So beautiful! How often does a NJ'er see two guys in yellow plastic skippering a skiff for oyster? I thought the weather added to the ambiance of your lush, lusty Long Island.
T -sorry I scared ya with my driving but I haven't taken anyone out yet.
What was the name of the town with the trolly tracks? I missed it.
Karen!! I think you gave me the germs at the parade when you kissed me on the cheek, you could have at least made out with me, and made the germ spreading worth it!!!!

Aye, we was skipperin' lustily and we got crabs!
The tracks run down Main Street in Northport, my home town.
You should have stayed on. The weather got better, the roads got drier and I was slicing and dicing side trips out of the last section to shorten the distance and time. We made it to the winery by 4:05.
Solle4me...... Just wanted to tell you that your pictures came out Awesome. so It was so worth you getting yourself almost killed several times. Nice job!!! Hugs T.
