It's pouring here in Jersey. What's it doing out there by you?

Weather, whether or not we like it . . . we don't.
Good Morning ,
Last night the forecast was for a little cloudiness in an otherwise sunny day. This morning I awoke to find that little cloud pissing all over me.
Currently, it is not raining, but the forecast for today is 30 to 40% chance of showers, depending on who you listen to. I've already been through two of those showers today.
I don't think they have windows in the meterologist's building.
Last week, when we cancelled, it never actually rained and got sunny in the afternoon. The roads were wet from the day before. Now, they're wet from this morning.
Denise and I are going to the diner because some people may arrive there. We'll observe the conditions on the way. Our phone numbers are posted in the first post.................
For anyone coming a distance, you might want to at least wait and watch a bit before leaving. And call us to let us know what you are doing. I don't want to be a wet rag on the fun, but this thing may not happen today.
Chris

They're calling for a clearing later on with showers until then. I'm leaving now - gonna stop for coffee & gas, will probably see you around 7:30...

Dad and I woke up at 5 and went right back to bed. Never saw your post to call you at 6 AM, sorry. I guess you figured we were not coming. This Fall weather sucks this year, too cold too fast and a lot of rain. It was in the 40's most nights for the last week up here. I have the heat on since mid-week, greedy oil companies are loving this crap!
I cut out of the run early to get some work done for school tomorrow but it was a great run. Thanks again Chris. Sorry we didn't see you Paul. The weather was not good this morning at all.
When I got up this morning at 6:00, it was raining in Smithtown and more rain was on the way, so I went back to bed. Surprised to hear the run went on after all. I hope everyone had a great time. I'll look forward to the next one.
