Hi, me again.

The winery phoned me back today. Here are the options.

1.) Taste wine/buy bottles/get drunk. Has possibilitites.

2.) Buy wine and have them cater some noshies. Cheese, crackers, cookies, maybe a little fruitie tootie.

3.) Buy wine and cheese as above, then they bring in food (wraps, sandwiches) at about $25/person. Some wine tastes thrown in.

4.) Take some free tastes then get outta there 'cause we got food in the fridge that's gonna go bad if we don't eat it soon.


In options 1 & 2, we can elect to go to dinner locally, but I need to know who's in so I can make a res. Good restaurants nearby, but if day is nice, they will be busy.

In option 3, I still need a head count. Advantage to this one is we don't relocate once we've plopped down. Disadvantage is limited cuisine.

In option 4, go soak your head, you cheapskate! No, really, some people will have perfectly valid reasons to split. Let me know now, please. We'll still say mean stuff about you over dinner anyway.
