I think the forum should be enough, right here on this thread. I will be up early and will post the local conditions for our out of town guests who could be waking to forbidding weather. If it looks like a rainy day, I'll call it, but I'll check at least three prognostications first. The Weather Channel, the U.S. Weather Service, and the Northport Coast Guard Station will be my guides.

If I call it and it clears up, I will be pissing mad, so I don't want to jump too early. On the other hand, folks driving two or three hours to get here need advance warning. I will make a decision by 5 AM. I will post it here.

If I call it, then we go the following Sunday, 10/05/08. Same deal.

You're 100% right about that...I've had too many car shows called off too early, then the weather turned nice...then there was a monsoon on the rain date.
Come to think of it...there's a monsoon in many of our cars right now...sound system, that is

On the menu bar above, click "User CP" (Control Panel).
Then, in the menu at the left side, click on "Edit Avatar"
Then, Scroll to the bottom, click on "browse".
This will allow you to search your computer for a picture to select.
Double clicking the picture will install it.

If the picture file is too large, it may be rejected.
If this happens, you can e-mail me the picture and I will send you a reduced size copy.
Save it to "My Pictures".
Then repeat the above procedure.

Attention Garmin GPS users: I sent the route instructions to Spag so he can load them into a program running on his laptop.

It is our plan to hand out run instructions on Sunday Morning.

If anyone would like an early copy, PM me your email address and I will send it to you. It is a Word.doc, 3MB in size. Print it out and preview the route.

For best results, you will need these fonts on your computer:
Times New Roman
Harlow Solid Italic
Snap ITC
Californian FB
Script MT Bold
Ravie
Bradley Hand ITC
Cooper Black
Goudy Stout
Jokerman
Comic Sans MS

If you don't have these, the printer will default to a standby typeface which might make the pages print a little funny. I can send you anything you are missing, however, most Windows XP and newer boxes come with these fonts already installed.

The Weatherbug on my home page has jacked tomorrow's Chance of Rain from 30% on Wednesday to 40% Thursday, 50% yesterday and now, today, to 60%.
