There was some discussion at the T2TRIII this past weekend that there are not many members on the member map. Not sure if everyone remembers that it's here on the forum or not, but it's one way for others in the area to find you... get involved, etc.
Just wanted to make a little post about it to see if we can get more people on there. Currently (as of this posting on May 7, 2008) there are 731 people... but I know there are MANY more on the forum.
Remember, you don't have to mark where your house is.. just pick the center of your city if you want.

How the heck do you get the right pushpin on the thing? It keeps asking for a marker URL. I click the location and get a red pin - I'm lost from there.
Don't know if I'm putting in something wrong but I've been trying to get on the map for years and I keep getting a server error (from the office and the home computer). Got so fed up with it I just stopped trying. Tried again a few minutes ago and got the same problem.

Double click on an area and then zoom a level, repeat until you find your spot. It won't change to a pin until you save your info, until then it looks like a tear drop with a dot in it.

I think it is because you have a ' in your name. the forum has difficulty with quotes and dashes in names.
