I've tried that also and taking it out of my ID didn't work either. I think the problem is I can't seem to get the right information into the URL block and it is not populating automaticly when I place the marker on it's final resting place. Tried cut and paste from the address bar and that doesn't work.

Does anyone think that because when I drop the appostrophy from my ID (like suggested above as a possible issue) that it in not working at that point because it does not match my original ID? Maybe I should have a moderator or administrator drop the appostrophy off my ID so it would match on the map.

I'm now on the map.
Now I see why I don't see to many sols around Richmond, VA.
(I know there are more) but there's 2 of us now...but atleast that's more than what
there was a few minutes ago.

Come on now Am I like the only one that can't get the stinking thing to work? I've tried off and on for a year now and I get the same server error message no matter what I try.

I log in. Click on "your entry" above the map. I zoom in to about 15. click and place the red with black dot marker. Type my member ID in both the marker title and marker text. What exactly goes in the URL block? Does anything need to be there? I've tried it blank. I've tried the web link of the page, a link from a pic off my photobucket, copied link and adjusted the long, lat and zoom from the one listed in deepbluegxp's post above.

Nothing is working from work or my home. I can't be the only one having issues and is probably why more members aren't on it. There are no real instruction on the page either other than how to pick your spot on the map.

I feel retarded or something.

Gunny is having database errors trying to add his due to his forum name having a special character. Adding an image is easy. Just use the http address to your photo. I used this for mine

It's that apostrophe, not the first time, appears that Google doesn't like apostrophes. One of the Admins can change your username, that's the only way to get Google to let you add yourself to the map.
