Avatar shows the only two cars I have ever bought for the soul: The blue Solstice and the red Alfa-Sud.
20 years apart, with three kids in between.
Just noticed your sig & Avatar. I used to have an Alfasud too, back in Blighty in the early 80's. Was the ti model with twin-headlamps and twin-carbs. Boy I loved that car, despite going through a distributor cap every 3 months, door pulls every 6 months and rusting clean through the wheel wells after only 2 years! Ahh, good times.

Just for kicks, when my photographer associates and I go into a restaurant for lunch, we usually ask our server, "hey, do you know any photographers?" 8 out of 10 times they come back with, "I'm a photographer." I kid you not.
Some one else pointed that glare out to me. I think it keeps the photo looking "real" and more natural. But, I can understand your concern. It's way to dam cold right now to take any pics outside. But if my car wasn't so clean and shinny, the glare would not have even been there. I think I may have some other angles of the car. Personally, I like how the sunlight reflects off the hood and other parts. That's what happens when you use Meguire's Wax and a good buffer!
How about one of these?
I like these two. The glare on the other wouldn't have been so objectionable if it were sharper, more of a lens flare or spectral highlight, but it just gave that corner of the car a sort of washed out look I thought. These two are much better choices I think.
Didn't anyone get any photos from the Dragon taken by Danger Boy (or whatever his name is) ? Of course, those would be copyrighted so not for use (unless he granted permission), but we could sure use a selection of really good action shots.
No wonder I was getting confused by this thread earlier this week. I was subscribed to a different calendar thread and got my wires crossed. All of you who were looking for a virtual calendar to print on your own should be looking at this thread instead:
