Is anyone else out there having issues with those plastic flaps in the rear surround? they are supposed to lift when you raise the cloth top, but mine dont. Instead the top linkage mashes into them and prevents the top from raising. Then, by reaching in and lifting the flaps, they get gouged by the linkage, resulting in small nicks along the edge of them. When I'm alone, I often have to walk around the car a couple of times to get the top up far enough to keep the flaps up and eliminate the binding.

I know there are cables linking the flaps to the top linkage, but I don't see anywhere to adjust the cables. Can anyone help??

Someone in the forum had this issue, it was fixed under warranty by the dealer.

It looks too Rube Goldberg-ish to be diddling with. I would also take it to a dealer, even if the car was NOT under warranty.
