Thanks for posting the video but why when ever any posts a YouTube video feed to play within their Solstice Forum post, I never get any audio? I can go to the YouTube site and it works great but when it's embedded in the post it doesn't.
Those clips sure bring back the excitement that I felt when I first watched it on 4/14/05. Unfortunately, it also brings back the memories of the fiasco on the next day when the servers crashed and my order went thru about 3 minutes after the last of the first 1000 was gone. I will let bygones be bygones, I love my Solstice!!!

Anyone?

Hey Bob, this might be a long shot but go to tools on your Internet Explorer page. Click on Internet Options then Advanced. Scroll down to Multimedia and make sure "Play sounds in Web pages" is checked.
That's the only thing I can think of right now.

Thanks, sixgun, that's a treasure!
Maybe the moderators could make it a permanent sticky thread, so all the future Solstice owners can see what they missed.
As for that particular episode of The Apprentice, it remains the ONLY episode I have ever seen.

Thanks for posting those videos. I did watch the orginal airing of that episode, i actually only watched it because of the solstice - I never was a big fan of the apprentice.
I remember back when i first saw the Solstice concept i figured it was going to run somewhere between 30-50k due to the look it had. I soon after forgot about the car not realizing that i actually would end up owning one some day. This episode actually brought back my enthusiasm for the car which i feel ended up making me think more and more about the solstice when it came to replacing my last daily driver.

Thanks SixGun,
Firefox here but the sound plays on the You Tube and on other sites. Sometimes on sites that I wish it wouldn't...
Thanks again for the suggestion and if anyone else has any ideas, please pass them on.
Yes I remember it well. All the anticipation and discussions here and all the fallout afterwards. I think we set some records that night for number of guests as so many people Googled Solstice and found this site. Good idea on saving this for future Juan, I'll add this to the index sticky for future reference

thanks for the video. never got a chance to see it before today (was busy playing in the "sandbox"). I probably would've lost my mind if I saw that show. The Sol is one sexy automobile. Bob Lutz, Franz V, Vicki, thank you guys so much. This is truly one of the most beautiful cars I have seen in my life.

Brought back some memories for me. Started me on the road to my base Solstice. I would not put a dollar down till I was sure that I could fit in the car and as it turns out I got my N/A Solstice by luck and good people much like how I got my GXP

LOTS OF MEMORIES!!! I had to work late that night so my wife and daughters taped the episode for me. Both my wife and one of my daughters called me at work to give me the web site so I could get my ID number (yes I am lucky to have such a good family! ). I finally got to watch the episode around 11:00 that night.
