If anybody is interested in taking a nice drive and also checking out Wade's Garage, he informed me that on Aug. 2nd he will be hosting an open house for anybody that would like to attend. There is a local club having a Poker Run that same day and he will be one of the stops, so there will be plenty of activity. His garage is awesome and is worth the trip. Who knows, maybe he'll even spring for some hotdogs on the grill. We can also talk with him about any future body (and powertrain mods) that there may be interest in. I live in Front Royal and know the way, so we can meet up there, if that is a good central location, for all those interested. Look forward to meeting more of you !
I am in, most likely need to leave pretty early it's a fairly long ride out there on some great roads.

This is a long trip, I am looking at over 8 hours in the car, many even more. I am beginning to think a more leisurly cruise out and then an overnight and leisurely cruise home on Sunday might be a better plan. I want time to spend talking with Wade and looking at the garage, without feeling like I need to get going because of the long drive home. I want to take the no highway route.

A late September romp in the mountains with a layover in WV, then drive back on Sunday. Sounds better and better than a mad 4+ hour dash, grap a hot dog, and 4+ dash home. Fairmount is fairly good size and a quick google search shows many motels in the area. Maybe we could get Wade to recommend one close by.
