Setting the clock - whats the trick

OK - I'm feeling like a bit of a techno idiot today, but I'm having trouble setting my clock. It's running a little behind, and I can't seem to reset it by following the owners manual instructions. I remember there's a trick to it, but forget what that is. Searched but can't find a reference here.

igintion on or off?
motor running or not?
radio on or off?

I can get the hr or min to blink, but no change when I spin the dials. This is a base - single CD radio.

Use the advance buttons on the right and left to adjust it, not the rotating knobs.

i push the clock button then use the preset buttons to select what i wanna change the use the small rotating knob to adjust repeat as necessary and hit the clock button again to Finish

OK - I figured it out ( for mine anyway).
1) Ignition in accessory
2)-Radio must be turned on
3)-hit clock button a couple times until mins show (do not hold down )
4)-turn small tune knob at top right (note no other buttons work - unlike written instructions in manual)
5)-wait for 20 seconds and system will accept new time automatically - no need to hit clock again or attempt a manual set

Easy, once you learn the sequence, but tough to figure out from manual instructions.


Now to find out why I was losing time to begin with.

Have fun with it guys. I have put in my own supercharger and suspension parts, but for whatever reason , the damn clock always messes me up.
Just doesn't behave like it should ( rationally that is)
