Shameless solli

I admit, I have no shame. I was sitting at a red light on Route 1 after having spent the morning shopping and eating when I happened to spot that awesome rear end. I thought my very eyes were deceiving me, but OMG! Yes! There's another one right in front of me! I followed the poor unsuspecting guy right to his driveway and bounded out of my BMW all the while chirping:
"Excuse me, excuse me, is this your car? Are you a member of the SolsticeForum, by any chance?" (No)

Anyway, Keith, you are a great guy for letting me blather on and on while I drooled over your deep Sol baby.
Keith actually offered to let me sit in his car (for which I will forever be grateful).
In case you decide to lurk and you do catch this,
This note's for you.
If anyone in NJ wants a Sol, ask for Keith at Miller Pontiac. They may still have one or two.

Bob Lutz loves the part where you bounded out of a BMW chasing a Pontiac

(and before any new rumors start I am not nor do I know anyone who knows Bob Lutz )

See you are the one starting the rumors about yourself.

I must agree that it did make my heart sing when she gave the whole "jumping out of a Solstice to see a Pontiac" description.

(sigh) of only it was that way with more cars.

Read her post carefully, she was shopping! She got out of her BMW, she could not have been shopping, except for windows, in her Sol.

Just because you're shopping doesn't mean you are BUYING anything! only when buying do you run into trouble with the Sol. I wish I was expeciencing that problem. I might have to take my wife shopping!! She has begun doing most of her shopping online, so the delivery people are doing most of the work, now.

Best comment so far about my Aggressive Sol, from a driver of a red S2000 in the small town I live near, "I thought I was going to have the coolest car for some time. Now, I know I am wrong!"

My, how we do digress.

Anyway, the nice fellow proceeded to tell me that altho he's not a forum member, he does check in periodically because WE KNOW MORE THAN THE DEALERS DO! He also mentioned that a few dealers here in NJ are beginning to jack the price 2-3k, and it's becoming an issue to get your car at pre-September prices. Which of course, sent me on my blather rant about how I lost my 1stk to the zerozip fiasco, blah blah blah.

Keith chose the two-toned interior but he wasn't pleased with the door panels as they were a little too blue. (It looks like a faded 1987 Hyundai color). I figure with "Cool" it may not be so obvious. (GM: Try grey next time)

There's not much room for personal baggage in this car. I'm thinking of going shopping for a nice little coordinated leather basket or tray to throw my trinkets in.
That waterfall hideout doesn't cut it.

Maybe with the abundance of Ohio owners the Longaberger copany can be persuaded to do custom Solstice baskets for the trunk.

I'm waiting for my first bumper chaser !! (Druid-2)

That happened within the first two miles. I picked up the car at 5:00 PM, drove to the Casino (about a mile away) and two guys followed me into the parking lot to see what it was.
