Actually, it is my fault. I went to check on my friends on the Sky forum and it was inoperative. So I asked the question to find out if it was just me who was unable to bring the forum page up. Soup came back and said it was down for him as we'll. apparently there was a hardware failure of some sort. But again fortunately it came back up and all was well
Sadly a few have taken my question and misinterpreted it and the conversation has wandered far afield.
No negative waves were intended

Yeah, I didn't get that vibe from your original post, Rob. I'm not a member there but I understood your original intent was to see if anyone else was having trouble logging on.
Evening everyone. As far as the Sky forum, after about 4-5 years how much new information about these cars is there? I mainly hung out in the Frontier where we could raise a little hell. For some reason people started bailing from there to Facebook, which was okay for a little while, but basically Facebook sucks. Now it seems that it's moved over here. MomsSol tells me I need to make a couple of posts before she'll turn me loose to my own devises. Tried one in General Off Topic, but that may not count so here's one post.
Because it cost more $$$ to make and were higher in price value when brand new... daaaa....
I understand the higher in price part.....d-oh
Just don't see the value part.
Actually rarity has very little to do with retained value in my mind. I'll bet that 10 years from now they are priced the same as a Sol. Maybe even less if parts become hard to get.
And they will look as dated as a '77 Bandit T/A does today.
The Sol, on the other hand will look as classic as a James Dean Porsche.
