The mean yellow "LeMans" one that " Blizzard" has for sale looks really nice! I was eying it but when I realized that it fitted over the "humps" I knew it could not work for me as I have the GM Luggage rack installed between my "humps".
I went to the site and I am in "contemplation mode" over the winter on the " Club Racer Top in Haartz Black Vinyl". I like the look but I have to get my head around why I would do this as I store my car for the winter. As I said, I like the look so that might be why I do it?!?!

If I did go ahead I would have two GM tonneau covers, the original roof and this hard top. Kinda makes me happy! I need "mod therapy"

Does this top go into the convertible top hold downs and hook to the front top fastener? How long to take off and put on?

That is what my research is telling me. The site has all the info. They suggest a professional / body shop do the initial fit. Once it is lined up it attaches via front top latch and rear buttress holes. If I went for this I would make a road trip out of this and go down to their shop and have them line it up / install. They are just outside of Pittsburg which is just five hours from where I am at.

I see quite a few Mazda Miatas and MX5's around my area with hard tops. These guys make them too. The difference is they still have access to their trunk. We lose that access while this is on. My GM luggage rack would really come into play / use with this top.

I have had both the Club Racer and LaMans. I still have the LaMans and have liked both. You can put it on and take it off by yourself if you are careful. It only takes about 5 min to do either. With a helper you will not take off much time, but it is easier to handle. The LaMans gives me a felling of more room inside the car.

We seem to be getting some good responses on this thread. If anyone has one of these tops on their Sol or Sky how about posting some pics and any comments or reviews? I have all winter to decide so no rush.

Agree with BuzzardT on removal time. I've only done it by myself, takes just a couple minutes but can be a little awkward.

That look very nice. Do they sell spare w/strips? Is that a retracting antenna or a stubby?

Just checked out your "Garage". Both tops look amazing...can't believe you had both. That is almost as wild as me with two tonneau's!!! Why did you get rid of the "Club Racer" one? Your ride looks really nice!
