Did everyone read the last sentence in the vehicle bio......That little part about how "this car in it's current state can not be licensed or titled and can not be driven on public roads"....

Well that takes all the fun out of it

Who are you asking? The top on the Weekend Racer is GM's race top and has been available since the car's inception. (it's also mentioned in every hard top thread on this site)

Order it through any race team. It doesn't have any seals though and bolts to the car.

If you're ballsy you can try and add your own seals.

mazda3jdm here's mad mojo coming your way to be the highest bidder!!

That car would be incredible to own.

It would be difficult to get these things licensed, don't you think?

I guess they are only for private collections, race tracks, parades?

As for the "lipstick on a pig" about the custom Azteks....My mom loves hers. If GM would have releases more of these Ateks (customized) as options, they would have sold a lot more of them.

Don't know how fantasy bid works ...

BTW ... that Red Bull Solstice is simply a promo/show car. It is NOT Rhys Millen's Drift Sol

Here is a picture of it at the 1ST Nat'l Meet in Kansas City - 2006

man, i'm dyin for that hardtop.

oh, and i'm sure it's not hard to get these back to street legal. As long as they actually have VINs.

If not there still are ways, it's just a lot of tape.

In Arizona you can get dam near anything licensed, as long as it can be made to pass a level 3 state inspection your good to go.

My guess is this was stated because the car does not have a VIN Number issued to it, but that can be generated by GM with a little paperwork.

First thought, would be the Air Bags. These cars, and especially the one in your picture, probably do not have functioning Air Bag systems. Seat belts could also be an issue.

The "pull tab" as seen in the picture would probably have to be removed in most states.

Next would be a check of the fuctionality of the lighting systems.

Rear Defogger could also be an issue.

Another issue could be emissions certification. These cars may not have the required labels, or paperwork notifications.

In the other thread, they said Jazz was being auctioned off. What is that lot number?
