Solsticeforum.com is pleased to announce a new feature designed specifically for local and regional clubs. Clubs, Events and Regional Discussion Clubs can now be allocated their own sub-forum within their geographic region. Here they can organize their events, post activities, member lists, even newsletters. This can greatly ease the difficulty of navigating through multiple posts from multiple clubs. It can also make it much easier for forum members to find an active club in their region.
This program is voluntary, and presently at no charge. We do ask that clubs become formed first and have some level of forum activity before asking for a sub-forum. It is not limited to Solstice-only clubs, but is Kappa inclusive. We feel that most clubs on this forum will want to take advantage of this. To do so send the following information in a pm to one of the moderators and a sub-forum will be created for you. We suggest at a minimum a welcome thread along the lines of SSS or WiSols.
From these first two clubs taking advantage of this opportunity you can see how the program will work. It will take some time to move existing threads, (a great help in this will be a pm to the moderators with links to threads you wish moved first) but once the sub-forum is up and running club postings are encouraged to take place within the club "page".
Information requested;
Forum region: [ex. Northeast]
Club region(s): [state(s) or portion of a state ex. Central FL]
Group short name: [ex. SSS & WISols]
Group full name: [ex Sunshine State Solmates]
Primary contact: [contacts forum name]
We hope the clubs are as excited about this opportunity as the staff that put this together.
PM sent for the Virginia-Maryland Solstice Club (VMSC) that will need to be mirrored in both the Northeast and Southeast. I will send you threads to move next week. Thanks.

Ok working my way through the requests. I've got a couple left to put in place, so if it's not up yet don't worry. Our local group is doing a run tomorrow I'm hosting so it might have to wait till tomorrow night/mon.
Once you have your section in place create a list of threads you would like moved into your section. Only lists that contain actual links to threads will be fulfilled, because otherwise it just takes a very long time to go through another organizations threads to figure out what belongs to who.

i.e. T2TR 2007 is basically closed (run was a week ago)...and NEO SOS is long gone.
so do you just want "future" stuff or stuff that is still post-able-to (is tyhat a word?)
Current active stuff will be moved first. Between zapping new spam threads, the old stuff can be moved. What would have helped, is if the club name was in the thread title, like the WISols has done since day one

Most of the NEO threads had our name on it....but you are right
all new thread postings to the new sub-thread need to have NEO in there somewhere
