I'll take the 2007 Suburban Diesel, that would be a great SUV with the new 4.7 diesel engine.

Think it is usually on the Speed Channel.

Can also preorder the auction catalog at the Barrett Jackson site. Should be over 400 pictures in it. Also hear that their site should have the pictures of the GM cars up in a week or two.

Some GM Heritage Cars to be auctioned at Barrett Jackson...a couple Sols in there

There are a couple of Saturns and some Soltices (a red bull drift car) listed.

Question were the 2nd and 3rd cars the ones that were at the First National event in Kansas City? I am not sure but I kind of remember them?

Just to clarify:

#1 - Jazz is NOT in the sale .. it is the 'Rush City' Sol

#2 - does look very much like the Orange Sol that was in KC but I cannot locate any pictures that are close enough to verify.

#3 - IS the Red Bull Drift car that was at the meet in KC.

Anyone have any thoughts on what the Rush City, Red Bull Drifter, or the Weekend Racer concept will go for at the auction? I understand that the drift car is not the actual race car but only a look alike, but the other two, particularly the weekend racer, are one-off's and have a story. The weekend racer is gorgeous....

That is the Red Bull Drifter CLONE, not Rhys's actual race car, it is the one GM had on tour, not the one that was raced. It was at the GM Nationals in Pa. last year same weekend Rhys was racing the other one out west.

I'm pretty sure that's what I said earlier.

I'm really interested in the weekend racer, being a concept car with the hardtop and the additional body styling. Not to mention the amazing paint...

Orange Solstice

The orange Solstice at the track in K.C. was a custom, built for the girlfriend of rapper Ludacris if my memory service me correctly.

Is this solstice, from another thread on the forum, the orange Sol that you speak of?

Solstice Weekend Racer up for Auction!

This car looks incredible, but I cannot find it on the Barrett-Jackson website. The picture shown with lot 104 (on the B-J website) is NOT this car. Of course, the picture could be wrong...
