Since spring is only a couple weeks away, post your spring plans.
I've already ordered a set of lighted door sills from Windrestrictor. Plan on ordering a set of fenders from Norm. Plan on getting the windshield overlay from Tony. Still looking for a set of black headlights, may just end up painting them. Also going to get the Z0K rear swaybar and a larger intercooler.

Lighted door sill installation. Also some wiring I can't do in the garage. Wash & wax. Nothing costly, I'm saving money for NASSM. But before all this, I'm going for a drive.

Finally going to get my recessed grills painted and installed - and probably do something with painting the rear valence to match the color of the car. I wanted to buy the J2 rims but since they're discontinued, I guess I'll just stick with the stock rims this year... heh

Last Thursday I paid a mechanic to install my DDM ProBeam. Hubby drove the Fetish home from the shop and realized within a block of leaving the shop the exhaust was rubbing the ProBeam on the driver's side.
Hubby turned around, headed back to the shop and the mechanic had already left for the day, shop was closed. Hubby comes home instantly called the shop # and left a message explaining what the problem is. Fast forward to next morning, Hubby calls talks to the mechanic and is told he is to busy to deal with the problem but he will call Hubby later in the afternoon when he gets caught up so Hubby can take the Fetish in to solve the issue. No phone call.
IYO Should the mechanic have realized the rubbing would be an issue? Should I expect the mechanic to grind down the corner of the Pro Beam even after I paid him for the install. There were no instruction with the Pro Beam install paperwork sugesting the grinding might be necessary.BTW the mechanic is the owner of this shop and this is the same shop that the custom paint was applied to The Fetish.
Needless to say I'm a bit disapointed with my ProBeam install.

Had my pro beam installed at last years nationals in Denver. Dave from DDM stated that GM changed the exhasut and the beam needs to be cut on some solstices. Do not worry, you will love waht the beam does for your car.

you have been invited to join our NEO events for 3 years now.
so far we have not seen you
you are also not registered for the 2010-NATIONALS (even though you are an hour away)
Hope you don't stay a closet queen forever...life is too short
Unfortunately, I've been too busy with school the last couple of years to attend any NEO events [everything fell during the semesters]. I will try to attend the Canton meet for sure though.

Damn Fetish! That's disappointing! Do you normally get this kind of <lack of> service from your mechanic? If I want corners cut, I can do it myself, when I pay someone to install something it's because I want it done correctly! It pains me to see service being *just* what the customer asks for, instead of advising the customer.
Back on topic.... I really want to get my broken bumper replaced before June, between funds and lead time it'll be a close race. I also plan to get the VDI hinges installed and to finally be rid of those dang RSA tires

I agree totally! When I PAY a mechanic to complete a service I expect perfection. When Hubby took the Fetish back the mechanic DID use a plasma cutter to trim the spot on the ProBeam which was rubbing the exhaust. He went the extra mile and painted the newly made edge Black so the ProBeam has a finished edge on the section he removed.
