I am with you on the passenger cup holder. Only had my GXP for 3 weeks and from day 1 that cup holder has given me fits. It pops out ok.Just dont expect it to go back in without some persuasion.

Its going in for new exterior door handles (all the crome started peeling), new door threshold chrome stickers (they started peeling up) and the performance kit. So I am going to add that to their list.

If you put your thumb on the front piece and with your index or middle finger, lightly pinch in on the small curved arm on the right side it will close with ease. it has become second nature for me to do it this way without thinking about it and have had no issues Since.

You need to get the front wheels off the ground to take the tension off the bar in order to losen it safely. Floor jack in the center of the cross bar under the engine will work. It's a tight fit for the first few pumps but it works.

From what I have heard, haven't they taken away the TSB for the bushings?

I don't believe there is enough twisting movement between the strut spring and the rubber because of the natural tension in the full uncompressed state of the assembly. The main movement of the strut is up and down with minimal twist once it is in place.

Well my dealer quoted the TSB this week when they replaced mine under warranty on my 2007 GXP, same parts on my invoice, and it definitely stopped the squeaks. Maybe they used a bit of silicon as well, who knows.

A no, and TSB is Technical Service Bulletin. Basicly identifies an issue that requires correction as the customer comes in with the issue that is of a non safety endangering problem. If it were safety endangering or a major defect it would then become a recall.
