thanks guys, i had my solstice for a little over a year.... it was a fun ride guys, i loved the car, it was my daily driver.... i traded it in today for a dodge dart there were many reasons (being 19, not enough room, need some more mpgs) but the main one was repairs, i had my fuel pump go, water pump go, then the main reason was an oil leak, i took it in they pulled the engine replaced the oil pan gasket, 2 months later another oil leak, pulled engine again replaced the oil pan and gasket plus the upper oil pan gasket, was okay for some months ~4 then started leaking oil 2 weeks ago, took it in they said it was the oil filter gasket did a simple oil change started leaking last sunday... that was the final straw, decided it was the end of me paying my 250 deductible (carmax extended warranty) and not having my car for about a week at a time (it was my only car) i really dont know what ultimately caused the oil leak(was towards the back of the engine) i thought maybe rear main seal or even possibly cracked block??? i dont know i was just tired of it being unreliable with only 60k on the clock (it was an 06) so i called up my sister (works at a dodge dealer) explained the situation she talked to the sales manager and he said most he could give me was 9k for the sol as a trade in so it was perfect i had to transfer some equity to the new car but in the end i got everything out the door for 26k about 2k over the dealers price....the solstice is gone i have great memories of the car when it was working fine but nightmares of it breaking down.. i never even got to turbo it or do much to it because of repairs but i will miss the car it was fun while it lasted but now im on a new adventure.... my new car is a 2013 Dodge Dart all black its the 1.4L Turbo 6-Speed with 160whp 170ft-lbs... so far its being a great little car, plus its fully loaded, and has AC!!! (the sol didnt lol)
but in the end i can say i will miss the sol, but im excited to see where this dart takes me....

Sorry to hear about your luck with the Solstice. Hopefully you won't see it around town and hear from the new owner that it's running great. (I've had that happen twice with vehicles I dumped because they were nickel and diming me to death, only to have the next owner put a boatload of miles on it with nothing but gas and oil expenses!)
