Thanks for the condolences

I just wanted to take a moment to thank those who have expressed their condolences to my wife Kim and me in the passing of Kim's father. I especially wanted to thank Dave (5907) and Deb, Kim and I had confided in them about her fathers condition when we were with them at the Mid Ohio event a couple weekends ago. They have been a big source of comfort to us both. Little did we know Kims dad only had 7 days left, his birthday was the day of the Mid Ohio event and we both feel he hung on as long as he did because of two milestones he was approaching, one was his 75th birthday, which he reached and the second was his 50th wedding anniversary which would have been in February of next year. We had an "anniversary" for them, that of their 50th year of meeting each other on 6/13 so he did in effect reach his 50th anniversary. We video taped it and Kim has been getting a lot of comfort from watching that now. We plan on making copies for her 2 brothers and her sister as well as some other close relatives as surprises for them as we know they will get a lot of comfort from it also. I again just wanted to say thanks!

Darren and Kim

p.s.
Dave, thanks for the CD. We just received it, I've got a new wallpaper for my computer now : )
