Yeah, they're not cheap but the quality matched the OEM quality. I put clear with a white housing on my white car and it really cleaned up the look. (Just realized I need to take pictures after the change)

sh(i)t... I come from a different breed I guess.

You "old guys and your deep pockets"

The solstice forum is definitively been a shock to my system, I've got a low 12 sec cavalier and I am used to a different crowd I guess. Median age over on those forums is probably 20-30.

No offense, of course. just a different demographic...

No offense taken by this 59 yr old! I agree with you, at that price I think they must feel that we are the same as the Vette crowd.
I believe my Sky has been termed as a "poor man's Vette".... and that doesn't bother me at all!

I agree with Sun Chaser and at 64 I would not buy them either at that price.

For the money, I felt it worked better than the alternative (using vinyl with cutouts). It really cleaned up the front of my car and makes it look that much better. I guess it all depends on where your priorities lie with your car

That said, I didn't buy the aftershocks, I bought mine from someone else (another manufactuer). The prices are the same though.

Comments like this reminds me of a joke I heard a while back -

A young bull says to the old bull, "hey see those cows up there on the hill, let's run up there and and have some fun with one of them."

Old bull turns and says to the young bull, "let's walk up there and have fun with all of them."

I am still young at heart at 64 with 8 grand kids with more to come. Love em all and love my Sol and yes, the deep pockets help.

Keep in mind these are low volume, and basically hand made. They aren't being mass produced in China.

And oh yeah, GET OFF MY LAWN, KID!
