Top installation help

I thought I saw info on this subject but now I can't find it so sorry if I'm repeating this question. Has anyone installed a soft top on the Solstace? Not the whole frame...just the soft top. Thanks

Closest I have seen is when a member installed an acoustic liner on his car

The canvas is glued and riveted to the frame. It can be done but having experience would help

Whoa, you're planning on trying to install the canvas on the frame? The headache can't be worth the few hundred that'd save.

I have to imagine that installing a fully complete top assembly (frame and fabric) would be infinitely easier...

Yes...you all have convinced me to go the whole frame route. Thank you all for that. Here's my new issue. I have a Plan A car and the only ones I have found are Plan B. I know I can convert a Plan B to to fit my car by changing the weather strips but am not sure what's involved with doing this.... or should I keep looking for a Plan A top. HELP !!! Thanks for the comments so far.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I think that a complete Plan A top is interchangeable with a complete Plan B top. It is only when trying to mix parts from one or the other that you have a problem.
