Hello, from what I have read in his posts he doesnt seem like the type to intentionally ripp any one off. I think I remember something that his car was involved in an accident with his wife, not sure just going of the top of my head. Good luck, Norm

He was also having serious health issues, so you might want to rethink the 'ripped off' part. I just hope he's doing o.k.

Since you seem to know something about his personal situation, perhaps you can help out???

Do you know of a way to contact him, or perhaps know of another forum member who knows him well enough to have some contact information, such as a phone number?

I'm afraid my info is just from some of his posts here, and while I met him at at an Austin run almost 2 years ago, and have invited him to some events here in town, I don't know anymore than you really.

thanks for the assistance, even with the delay, I honestly would have expected some sort of communication in the last 90 days to provide the individual who bought the side skirts an update.......failure to answer emails, and a personal letter sent to his home address after you have taken someones money to me is inexcuseable....a little communcation goes a long way to solving a problem like this....he cashed the check, he should have shipped the side skirts within a day or two......IMHO

If he is incapacitated the family may have no idea of the sale.
The family at times like this are more focus on the person than any thing else.
I just hope this is the case and not something else.

But if some one has the energy to cash the check they should have the decency to respond to PM's or provide some response to the individual who in good faith sent the check. To me this is being ripped off.

The problem is we do not know what the particulars are on this case.
Let's say he had the side skirts on his car to be shipped, but went and deposit the check 1st at his bank, on the way to ship the side skirts something happens to him that incapacitated him. Now he can not answer PM or answer the letter.
I am just hoping that this will get resolve to everyone satisfaction.
Let's not pass judgement to quickly.

You are correct of course, I was probably too quick in my response. After seeing people jumping all over Robert at Windrestrictor this time last year when he was in the hospital, I was probably over-sensitive.

Doing a little research it looks like the hospital stay I remembered for uncivilracer was last summer, and it looks like he's been posting on other car forums in January, so he definately needs to respond to someone.
