What I meant was if he has been on and also notified not just by you but other members and its not responding to the opportunity that was presented to him maybe you need to take further action whatever that might be?

This entire thread has as its core subject uncivilracer. Perhaps, one of the supermods could look into this matter and SEE for sure, whether he has visited this thread directly. I am 100% certain that this individual has, in my mind visited this forum and this thread in particular. What I would like to see, is uncivilracer respond here on this thread, apologize for whatever his reasoning/rationale is for CASHING a check and not delivering on goods as agreed to. That constitutes fraud and theft. He could be in serious trouble with the feds for wire fraud and theft, especially since this is internet based business on his part. Honesty and integrity is what builds friendships and trust. Not non-deliveries, cashing of checks, and no response after that. There are not two sides to this story---there is only one, and that is the TRUTH. That means, the check was cashed, items have not been delivered, and no response to the customer to date. That is sad and pathetic, not just to me, but in principle.

Giz I did use the term ripoff at the first posting...but since then I have simply been stating the facts....a lot of people have been trying to reach him...the person who he sold the parts too is going to call him as well at the number that I bet is the same one you used....he is even going to send him another letter, this time a certified one....
SolScuba, I beleive stated he had even gotten PMs back from him since this thread has started......I have PMd him here...you have emailed him., others have emailed him on his myspace ......I have heard he has been in the hospital, out of the hospital, going through a divorce...etc..I hope he is well and you are right...we dont know all the story here..but there obviously is one...and most are just asking for his side of it......right now the silence is deafening.....
Im still giving him the benefit of the doubt, as does the person who he owes the parts too..but beleive everyone who has input into the thread feel his time is running out to respond and make things right.....

I agree with you 100%, Paul. And you have not been unfair. As you said, you're just stating the facts. I'm sure I'd be just as aprehensive if this happened to me or to a friend. And you both certainly deserve an explanation. Let's hope it comes without further delay.

I now say he has ripped the man off for the $200 ...he posted in another thread on this forum on 2-7-08, three days after this thread started...uuuummmmmm
so he has seen the PMs and know folks are looking for him, my PM was sent 5 hours after he posted unfortunately but others have communicated with him..he has time to comment about transformer emblems....but cant take time to tell his side of the story here...........so as far as this member is concerned..his time has ran out....he should immediately take action to refund the $$ or ship the skirts.....no more excuses at this point....

Paul, you have every right to feel the way you do. I don't blame you in the least, and I'm sure no one else does.
However, I just got back to my office and found an email from his wife sent an hour ago. He is indeed back in the hospital again, having another session of chemo. If anyone has been through that kind of experience (I have not, PTL), they know that it takes over your complete being, leaving you totally wasted. Especially if the prognosis is not good (I do not know how bad it is).
I know Brandon and I will personally vouch for the $200. If better arrangements have not been made by 02/29/08, I will send the customer my own check for $200. I'm sorry I can't send it sooner, but that's the best I can do at this time.
I hope this satisfies everyonce concerned, and even those not concerned. I do not feel that apologies are due from anyone EXCEPT from Brandon. Surely someone in his family could have communicated. But beyond that, everyone here is entitled to feel out of sorts, in my opinion.
