So a forum member on here had a car ordered. It was in code 3400 with a targer production week of last week. I went to check the status of the vehicle and its now back at 1100.

Its weird!!!! I cannot find out why. I call Pontiac and even they say they cannot explain and they confirm that the vehicle has definetely not been built.

Sorry Ripple!!! I will keep my eyes open!!!

Man! What a bunch of BS! At least give the guy a call or something. "Keep your eyes open"? Yeah, that would be nice. Considering the guys probably been waiting for who knows how long. Geez! Dealers.....

If it was anybody OTHER than Dealernut, I would think something shady was going on. Actually, we have several dealers here that have earned a LOT of trust credits. In fact, seeing this happen to dealernut makes me more likely to be a little less skeptical of other dealers when they say things like this have happened.....

For curiousity sake, please keep us informed....

You owe Dealernut an apology dude-In case a) you're new to the forum, or b) just uninformed, he's one of the good guys-and guess what-dealers have zero control over what the plant does.

Sounds like a case of constraints catching up with inventory

Any one who spends any time on here at all knows that Dealernut is one of the good guys......and just like GM cannot dictate to the dealers what to charge for the cars.....the dealers have no control over what is happening at the assembly plant. Give him a break, it is the weekend and nobody at the plant is going to field his calls....Could be a constraint issue that flagged out the order at the last minute who knows. If that is the case it should all be straightened out on Mon......My order got flagged like that for the chrome rims and all I had to do was confirm that polished were ok and I was moved right back on top.....Hang in there Ripple.

I hate this and while I am devestated I do trust Dealernut to get to the bottom of this. In the meantime, I am going to cry into my kappamats

Hey, Dealernut,
Any chance the Delphi issue is giving GM a cause to start changing orders?

I just think it's ridiculous that some dealers have them sitting on the lot, while others are having to wait 6 months.
In the future GM should make it a "first come, First serve" situation.

If I put my deposit down first, I shoudl get mine first.
All this allocation nonsense is a load of crap, IMO.
