What did you do to your solstice today?

Weird, mine falls off just looking at it!

Today I installed new brakes, R1 drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads. I've had good results from this combo on my other cars so figured I'd give it a try on the Solstice. Best of all that annoying warped rotor is GONE!


I also cleaned up "mini-me" ...This thing is begging to be installed on a go-cart chassis! What do you guys think?

Where can I get the little one? Do/did they make a Sky version?

This one was given to me, I dont think they still make them. Before this one I have only seen the barbie version, now drgronk shows up with a disney version too! I've never seen a sky but I havnt been paying attention either. Craigslist is probably your best bet.

I painted my door sills lettering, not the best and there's a couple mess ups but overall I think they turned out good.

I checked Ebay the after responding and didn't see any. It's not like I have a grandkid on the way yet, so I still have plenty of time.

Mine did that to me last April. Was my first also. I'm not a big fan of writing checks and mailing them to the court house.

Posted it elsewhere under "parking brake", but this weekend I put the rear end (of the car) on jack stands and turned the rear caliper pistons in. Parking brake works great now and a noticeable improvement in overall braking. Guess those rear brakes do help a little bit!
