I just wanted to see how everyones average MPG compares with each other. Of course factors such as racing, tuning, city vs. highway and "leaving it bone stock" come into play, but it would be great to see what the median average MPG is for all Solstice owners is so we have a benchmark to compare against.

Thanks RVZ for catching that. I don't know how to change the poll now to correct this, but I do hope the results are still useful. My main intention is to rationalize why my MPG is so low. Yes I do drive like a maniac, and I have a very aggressive tune with high flow CAT and Solo SR exhaust, but if I am showing 14MPG to 17MPG, maybe something is broken? I am assuming those that get high mileage, are highway drivers and gentle on their car. Again the POLL did ask what MPG is on their car RIGHT NOW, as opposed to what was the best MPG ever seen on their car.
Last time I checked I was getting about 23 in town and 32 on the highway....but on the DIC right now is 24. I bought the car in march and only reset it a couple times so the average i have showing now is about 5k miles.

"Bone stock" '09 GXP.
According to the DIC "MPG AVG" reading, it's been running 26 and change.
Not a fair poll for the kappa platform. I bought my Sky with Hahn turbo so I don't know what it was getting before boost. I was seeing over 36 mpg in mostly highway driving when I computed it. The Hahn flashed computer reads over 40 mpg in the DIC.
I get about 21 city driving in my 06 N/A (you can't call a 128 commute highway even though its a 4 lane expressway), but then, I drive very aggressively. Even bonafide highway driving, 28 was my tops.

I don't reset the DIC nor does the wife everytime it gets filled up and I do my own calculations anyway. 90% city and 10% hwy the 08 gxp is avg between 25-27 mpg's.
According to the computer puttin around town I can get the reading up to 38 mpg's. I know most computers aren't 100% accurate but if that is even remotely close, I will take this car over a hybrid any day.

Im drivin a 2008 Aggressive GXP, totally stock at the moment with 1590 miles on it. I drive mostly around town (approx. 16 miles round trip a day to work), I tend to drive aggressively, like to be the first one of the line at every light...and I dont like being passed...LOL... starting to play more and more with the kickin the turbo in now that Ive given the engine time to break in, I just did the first oil change and used the recommended Mobil 1 5W-30...so far Ive seen 22.7 to 23.3 on the DIC with the setting at AVG MPG. I will say that I average about 240-245 miles before reaching an 1/8th of a tank with this car...comparing that with my old car (1999 Olds Alero GLS with 3.4 V-6 A/T, completely stock) that I usually got about 205-212 before sitting on empty...both cars having very similar sized gas tanks at 12 gallons...Im very happy with the gas mileage I am seeing...considering the increase in style, handling, nearly 100 more BHP...what more could any of us ask for!!!
Normal daily use, mixed highway and city, I end up around 21mpg so that's how I voted. If I drive a bit more conservatively on the highway I end up with 23mpg but what's the fun in that? The car has a few mods to intake, exhaust as well as tuning.
Mine is a daily driver and I've never reset my DIC. After 48k miles I'm averaging 22.0 MPG. I haven't spent time to calculate my own average lately, I used to do so by saving all my gas receipts and writing the mileage on each. I don't do any highway driving anymore and average 15 miles a day.

That sounds more like a fuel leak! I'm getting ~25 MPG in the city in my GXP. I don't know why yours is so low unless you are truly hammering it at every light. But I'd probably be concerned too. You think that you could ease up on the driving for a tank (or 1/2) and see what you get? I know...that's hard to do sometimes.

When I first put in my Solo I was down to about 14 - 18MPH. Started at 14 for the first week then up to 18 now back to 22.
He is probably spending too much time with the gas pedal on the floor.
