This is from an old post from a couple that took an 8 day honeymoon in their Sol.
All of this went along with them.
Well maybe not the dog.

When getting groceries I found frozen pizza fits nicely on top of the gas tank.
But frozen food doesn't do well in the trunk specially over the muffler. But with the new Solo street race exhaust resolved the problem. Just one more performance benefit of the Solo exhaust I can get my frozen goods home before they melt.
Mostly have to use the passenger seat for the weekly grocery run. Getting better a what objects fit best in various areas of the trunk.

I managed to squeeze about $100 worth of various groceries in there, also most importantly two cases of beer fits nicely in the trunk. Have yet to take it on a road trip but once it gets nicer I'll really start seeing what we can put back there.

i got a twin XL TempurPedic mattress in mine. i was following a guy from work delivering a set of the mattresses to a customer when one of them flew out. the other guy didn't realize it and kept driving. i pulled over, put down the top, set the end of the mattress in the trunk then laid the other end on top of the windsheild. i happen to have a bungie in the trunk so i ran it over the top of the trunk lid so that it would stay down. i then drove the remaining 5 block holding onto the bottom side of the mattress in 36 degree weather while shifting gears. it was definitely a redneck moment.
I used to regularly bring several days of clothing and toiletries in a duffle bag when visiting my girlfriend. Occasionally I would also bring a lowpro (sp?) camera backpack. This is in addition to the usual (smaller) junk . . . cans of armor all and leather wipes, a towel, some tools, etc. Still had some room left over. I could definitely use this car for a trip to the airport as long as I used a duffle and not a suitcase.

LV's cooler will also take care of that melting problem
Thanks Druid-2:
It will get even better with the New upgrades to the owners of the Solstice cooler.
Keep and eye for a new thread, those that own one will not be disappointed.
Also it may not cost you a dime, more on that when I put the thread up in a week or so.
