What's wrong with Miami Sol/Sky owners??? Every time I see one, I try to throw them a smile or a wave and I get nothing in return. I just don't get it. Do people get the same reaction in other parts of the country?

2006 Mysterious purchased back in June '06... GM CAI and catback exhaust, 15% tint, Moda MD2's, debadged rearend, smoked lights (all of them), painted windshield frame, blackened grilles, blackened rear fascia, and vertical doors. Many more mods to come... I'll keep you posted!

i hear ya, i get the "wft?" looks. in the year+ ive had my sky, got one wave/thumbs from a sky, one honk and a wave from a sol. i see 'em often
Miami is a weird place to be friendly, dont get it either.

Might be the "girl" syndrome, you know like when a girl sees another girl in the same dress. Many people want to be different and don't care to see a twin, much less acknowledge their existence.
Well my experience in NJ is that other Sol owners have been very friendly. Both on the road and twice when I met them in a parkng lot. Always a smile and willing to talk/communicate.

There's a good little group up in broward/palm beach nothing official. I joined GM roadster and looks like I'm the only member of Miami roadsters. But a Miami/south FL group would be great

Very Very friendly here in VA/Md/Dc area. Always get a wave or a honk and a big smile.
Because I am old and slow, there are lots of people who might think I am not sol friendly. By the time I realize they are waving at me, I wave back but they are gone. So big waves to anyone I missed.

Actually a bunch of times I even know who they are. One time Cheers and I were riding together and a black sol going the other way zoomed passed. Before we could wave (both old, sorry cheers), I said that must be Done-w-him. He called here and said did you just pass a blue sol on 454, she said yup and that was that. I told you I was old, you see I am rambling on and on.
The SKYRoadster Forum members from Broward and Palm Beach County, Martin and Saint Lucy have get togethers, mostly to drive and stop for some camaradery.
