They are afraid to make any kind of contact, since there have been so many problems with other drivers in South Florida.
Road rage is the norm down here, courtesy is none existence.

Well, I live in Fort Lauderdale and spend about half my time in Miami. I'll wave if you wave to me. I did have one guy (when the Solstice was like brand new back in December of 05) who had a red one, and he was really excited, pulled up next to my car and was like... "Hey!", "Hey!!!! What's up!!!"...

And I tried to wave and be cordial, but I was trying to get on the I-95 on-ramp in North Miami Beach, so it probably looked like I was trying to dis the guy... I was just trying not to crash since it was bumper to bumper @ 50 miles an hour.

I'm in KY and I wave at every Sky / Solstice I see. In E-Town I found an older gentleman in his Sky RL and he passed me and he definitely waved.

If I find someone staring hard at the car I wave of course. Last thing we need is to be stereotyped into being "douchebag" owners!

Any of you guys have any plans to come to the car show in the Home Depot parking lot in Davie? It's right near where I live. It's in Broward County. They typically have something like 300-400 cars that show up. it's actually pretty decent.

I work for the Dolphins / Stadium, so depending on my projects, I'll either be in Miami Gardens at the stadium, or in Fort Lauderdale at training camp. But it's sometimes a huge pain in the butt to drive all the way down town... hahah... if any of you guys feel like extending a trip here to Fort Lauderdale... let me know...

I'll tell you what. I WOULD really like to get something going at Moroso. If anyone wants, I say we plan a trip to Moroso Motorsports Park for some Friday night test and tune (Quarter Mile runs). I would REALLY like to know what my car runs, and I just haven't had the time, and I don't feel like going up myself. It's about 45 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, so a little more than an hour from Miami... but it might be worth the trip?

Better check with the track (it's in West Palm Beach) before going up there, looks like dragstrip under construction, most other events are cancelled.

I was thinking of going down for the car show this friday. I'll post up if I go down.

As Gizmo mentioned, Moroso is closed till October.
