I have a question, I noticed that there seems to be a problem on the Sky with the wheel rubbing and heard that the early Sol's had that happen too. Any truth to that??? Thanks for any response I get...

A few people have had this show up, but there does seem to be more on the SKY.

The wheel liner and rear sheet metal (actually all the external sheet metal) is different between the Solstice and SKY. I don't know if there is a fix as of yet. I believe GM is aware of it, but may not be aware of the magnitude of this on the SKY. (but, I'm sure they will be soon)

There are some incorrect rumors that the SKY and Solstice have different spring rates, and/or that this is due to loading, but these are INCORRECT rumors.

HTH.

Before knowing anything about the wheel alignment issues as seen on the Sky board, I had this posted.
It's a simple fix to me only because I will do anything before having the dealer touch the car.

rubbing in wheel well

It may have worked for me but if there is in fact another inner shroud available from the dealer then maybe that would be worth doing. 6 of one half of another right?
