Rudy - these rock! I like them because they are subtle and very Euro looking. I also like the idea that they are two pieced for ease of battery removal if needed. Good thinking!
When your recessed grills are ready, I think I am going to be ordering both.
I am wondering if you have thought of a price range yet?

Hey Rudy.... another question for you if you get the time. How much lower do the side skirts make the car overall? It looks like they are only a few inches lower (2"-3").

The more I look at these, the more I begin to love them! Subtle design, but very aggressive and sharp looking. I'm curious to what the price will be and if you'll offer painting.

hi Nic...
The skirts are about .75" lower from the frame of the vehicle. I currently have the Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs and was thinking of going lower with the Sportlines before I installed the sideskirts. However, after the installation, the skirts gave the illusion of the car being lowered even moreso than before.
If your car is lowered, you'll need to attack speed bumps at an angle and slowly. One thing about these skirts are that they will be made of durable ABS plastic and will not crack on impact like glass would. It would most likely get scraped, scratched or gouged which can be repaired with bondo and repainted. But, most of the scrapes will be underside and not be noticed until you have it up on a lift or something.
BTW, here's a couple of shots of both the skirts and grills on the car in a different backgrond other than my driveway.
Okay .75" is not that much really. I have not lowered my car yet so I may wait until after the side skirts are on to do it. We are not known for smooth roads where I live and ruts happen often. I would hate to damage any part of my car on these.
So now I will sit back and patiently wait until you release them, providing I do not have to mortgage my first born redheaded child for them. There is more exchange now on the US/Canadian dollar than there was a while ago and I always end up paying duty on top of that too. It sucks.
You must be very happy, Rudy... not only do you have a good looking product (great photos, BTW) but you have encouraged our friend Spiky 3480 to aspire to "subtle"! (just kidding, Spiky3480 - no offense intended)
Cheers
Nic

Ha...no offense taken at all! To get subtle out of me is a big thing, although I don't think anything I have done is over the top, just unique. These are sideskirts that I feel could be on the car without any other body kit pieces and still look complete.
Coo, Thanks for the info. Can't wait for the pics.
A BIG DITTO FROM CHI TOWN. I'VE GOT TO GET SOME PAINT WORK DONE ON MY SPOOKY, THANKS TO SOME PARKING LOT DAMAGE. I HOPE YOUR RECESS GRILLE AND LIGHTS ARE ON THE MARKET SOON.

If there's a great need in the future, I can design custom splash guards that will fit the skirts.
This could be my next upgrade but I will be the first to say I need the splash guards, hope there is more interest and maybe a design look from you as to how it would all fit in as far as the overall look with the guards.
