Any tricks to getting to XM module?

Just got in the wife's USA SPEC iPod interface for her coupe and will attempt to install it tonight when I get home. I understand the XM module is in the back against the rear wall. Are there any tricks to getting to it? Does the rear carpet or what ever that stuff is called just pop out or something special? Any advance insight will be greatly appreciated.

No but it really was easy. You remove the 2 cargo net holders backup under the vertical area by just unscrewing them. Then pop up the plastic trim piece around the hatch lock. It just pops up with a little careful pulling straight up pressure. It uses the same type of pressure clips found on most interiors. Then careful work the molded carpet out. It interlocks with the other carpet pieces so just take your time. Also the light back there just pops out of the carpet. Then the XM box is snapped in easy to get to, etc. Hope this helps

I know my vette has a 'drum' in the back and it really amplifies the road noise. I have bought some of the FatMat to install along with some of that space age insulation. That will probably work best for the Solstice too. When I had that one carpet panel out, it looked kind of like the same thing as the vette and it looked like all the carpet panels will come out fairly easily. I plan to add the FatMat/insulation to the wife's Solstice if it works well in the vette.
