Can anyone PS ZR1 style flares on coupe?

I really like the looks of the subtle ZR1 flares, is anyone up to up to trying to photoshop ZR1 style flares on the Sol coupe? Here's a couple links that contain similar angles.

Picasa Web Albums - Corvette - 2009 Corvette...

2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe rear view

TIA

the difference...

The Corvette has a side that is a lot 'flatter' than the side of the Solstice. Especially behind the wheel. It rolls under so I don't think the flare works as well. Got any suggestions?

Thanks SS. I see the lower rear portion (splash guard?), but not the Z06 wheel arch flare I was looking for.

BTW, has anyone ever noticed that a regular Corvette is called a widebody with the addition of flared wheel arches, the European tradition is to widen the entire front and rear clips.
For example, compare the Aston Martin DB9
Aston Martin DB9 LM - Autoblog
to its’ wide body variant the Aston Martin One-77
Aston Martin One-77 Teaser - Autoblog
Much more subtle, but still wider.
It would be interesting seeing the Sol coupe widen in the European tradition.

You've seen Mallett's rendering of their widebody kit, right?

That's the best 'flow' of body panels i've seen for a wider rear track.

Yep idkfa, seen it, it's called the Pitbull, last I read it wasn't being produced due to low interest/cost. Plus it makes me automatically think Cobra wanna be, and since that is still being produced/replicated I think the Pitbull may make folks think it's a poormans version of the iconic Cobra, although a modern one. Also, who want to look at a Pontiac and think Ford, errr AC Ace. lol.
There has to be a way to wide-body the Sol out, so it's not automatically compared to something else.

Yeah, you are correct that there hasn't been enough interest to build it although they recently re-approached the idea around here somewhere. Just way to expensive for my tastes.

I see the cobra influences but apart from porsche 993 or 930-type influences I don't see anything that'll flow with the body lines. Personally i dig the rear of the 993... that might be a worth-while attempt.

I see the 993 as a combo of American flared fenders and European widebody technique.

The ultimate would be the Aston Martin One-77 widebody treatment on a a Sol. It would look wicked but be all show and no go with ZR1/Z06 size wheels on it.

Update: Baileyspeed Blade redesign - Autoblog
Here's a nice widebody treatment, it's called the Blade, not as Cobra-ish as the Pitbull.

That is sexy....I love the front and rear. Not so much the hood and side's.

the Blade is almost neat. Front end looks like a Viper (buy a Viper) the hood looks like a parking lot.
