Carrying a bike on the Solstice?

Any current Solstice owners, I'd like your input on this. The Coupe would be a daily driver for me, which brings a few concerns to mind:
I ride mountain bikes. Has anyone carried a bike on their Solstice? I'm unsure if there's a hitch-mount rack that would fit the Solstice. Is there even a hitch kit available? I currently have a Focus SVT which I can mount a strap-on (haha) bike carrier to the back and it's worked fine. Obviously a roof mount is out for either the Coupe or Convertible. Is anyone familiar with options for bike cargo? I may have to forego my bike carrying ability if I want the Coupe bad enough I suppose.

Ps. I realize how funny the Solstice would look with a 29'er strapped to the back that's nearly as big as the car, but hey, I love two wheels too!

Good question AaronWV. I was wondering the same thing. I'm also considering a Solstice Coupe for my daily driver.

And if I may AaronWV I'm going to ask one more ?. I kinda just realized this, but the Sol doesn't have a spare tire... Anyone here that does use their Sols as daily drivers have problems with that? How does the sealer/inflator kit work?

This what you're looking for?

Finally, A Real Bike Rack! - Saturn Sky Forum

I know a few have modified it to fit the gxp as well. Think it's an exhaust fitment problem

I use the Curt hitch.

There are many posts about this set up.

It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.

Awesome! It's not hopeless! Haha. That rack is pretty serious–I usually only carry one bike, so I may opt for a smaller unit, but I'm glad there's a hitch available. It's not too obtrusive either, which is cool. Thanks a lot people!

I always thought this was a pretty slick setup and no reason you can't make something like this for the solstice or sky.

In all my years of driving, i have never had a tire critically fail to a point where a can of fix-a-flat would not suffice. Sure it would be 'nice' as a safeguard but personally i'm happy with the weight savings.

I didn't know it was so rare, aren't there a number of modern sports cars that don't carry spares these days?

Has anyone tried one of those bike racks that claim to fit any car?

Because they wont without chopping the hitch up or swapping out exhaust systems. It was designed for the base car which only has one exhaust outlet.
