vin #000003
I have no clue to where I should actually post this where it would do some good.
vin # 1G2MB25B99Y000003 is located at Ralph Pontiac in Rochester NY
It is a white coupe with 2.4l engine m/t . Their phone number is 866 230 8208
I was told that it was still available along with a convt.
Pontiac has removed the Solstice from its website.......... They are down to the Vibe, G6 and G8. I am glad that so many are out there like all of you that will keep it alive.
Location: Under an invisibility cloak, somewhere in the Northeast

Derek D is selling his 0002 coupe (no problem with that) however he’s stating 1,268 coupes were made and further states 642 of that number were GXPs. This seems to contradict my understanding from your posts that 101 pre-production coupes and 1152 sequential number VINs coupes were produced for a total of 1253. I have read no break-down on the turbo vs standard numbers yet.
Can you clarify how many coupes were produced, and do you have any information on how many of them were turbo's yet?

See message numbers 54, 56, and 57 in this thread the 1152, 101, and 15 coupes, (total of 1268).
I have no idea where Derek D, get his 642 number. Maybe he's bad at math. I get 781 (67.8% of 1152, msg #54).

I’m sorry for being so anal about this but I’d eventually like to have a sign professional painted stating the number of coupes built, and not have someone come up and say; Nice sign, but your numbers are wrong. Because I know…someone will if I don’t have the documentation to back it up. While I was at the Detroit Dream Cruise this past weekend I was asked four times, “How many coupes were built?”
I took my preliminary total coupe production numbers from Flash Owner’s post 31 in this thread.
(Flash Owner, post 31, 1st paragraph) A batch of coupes were made before the decision to ship to fill retail orders. This is the batch my wife's car came from, and they are in the 2009 VIN range of 104000 - 106000. About 101 of these were made.
(Flash Owner, post 31, 3rd paragraph) Then they decided the car was ready to ship, sometime in the spring of 2009. They decided to start numbering the coupes at 000001, and are scheduled to approximately 001152.
(Flash Owner post 31 4th paragraph) between this, they also built some 2010 cars, before the plant was chosen to be one that will be closed. I assume these cars will never be sold, but I really have no idea how they will handle these cars.
(GMLineDog ,post 31) ; I was told also that 1152 was the last coupe.
I’m not as concerned with the turbo versus standard models (nor years, colors, options, etc.) final number are yet because I believe eventually those numbers will be revealed. I’m just trying to figure out what the total number of coupes built was because I think that’s the most important number coupe owners are going to want to know.

15 Experimental Coupes (non saleable, VIN ends in "EX")
So, they were made, but can't be sold.

2009 Mysterious GXP Coupe #100
I know the exact #, I own VIN 000002 actually...anyway the final number of coupes will be 1,268 which includes Canada and Mexico. In the US that number is 1,061...overall there will be only 642 GXP's out of that...
