Is it legit? I thought 2010s did not exist.

Too bad it's an Wuss-o-matic.

Serene will be a color! Even if only on one car.

I've seen a lot of listing of coupes as 2010s cuz the dealer thought "Oh, must be a new model year of Solstice"

That is what I thought until I looked at the VIN and the year digit was "A" where the 2009 is a "9".

Their ad says number 16 of 30. Wonder where the others are?

I just don't understand how this thing can be a 2010? The build date for this vehicle is May 11, 2009.

Don't get me wrong, I totally agree with Small Dealer. It's a 2010. I'm just totally shocked... it's like seeing Bigfoot.

I do show that it was delivered to GM, not a retail sale. Could this have anything to do with it?

It looks like GM decided to put a few miles on the 2010s and then sell them off as used.

OK, let's all keep our eyes open for the 4 GXP manual coupes that were built as 2010s.

I think that these were only 2010 cars because they didn't get around to titling them for awhile.

This one was built on a Monday. My coupe (378) was built the previous Thurday.

Current fleet:
1957 Jamaican bodied MGA
1958 MGA Twin Cam (race car)
1962 MGA Deluxe Coupe
1965 Jensen CV8
1969 MGC roadster
1969 Lamborghini Islero S
1971 Jensen Interceptor
1988 Pontiac Fiero GT
2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe

The VINs on the 2010s are AY100001 through AY100030. Go to your friendly GM service department and look 'em all up . . .

So, I didn't get the info from this thread, but another, elsewhere . . .

They built 30 2010 along with the rest of the 2009 production run, to make sure that everything checked out before it was announced that the plant would shut down as the 2009s were finished up.

I believe all 30 of the 2010s were produced in May, 2009.
