I forget whos car it was but a Sky got its handle ripped off by an instructor out at Willow Springs Race Track today! At least there was plenty of blue tape around to hold it in!

Where is GM on this

This sure seems like a design flaw.

Aren't there forum members with GM contacts? What does GM have to say about this?

Had the -exact- same thing happen to me today. Fortunately the dealer has one in stock so I'm getting it fixed in about an hour.

lumix, i see your reason on some of what you state, pinion seal, door handles plastic inner fenders cracking. though all this is going on and on with most companies. though so far our 08 has had zero trouble.

but the one point you make that i hear all the time. That i real can not understand is how the heak can anyone complain about the trunk? you did buy the car KNOWING this.? i mean come on if you needed trunk space why would you buy this car?

when i need more space i drive the suburban. i an not rich enough to drive a 1,000,000 dollar sports car but dont think those that do, "a real sports car has no cup holders". complain about cup holders? you are driving not sitting in front of your tv? I have an 07 GXP built 02/07 and I have just joined the list of broken door handles The drivers door handle looks just like the pictures in post 1. They don't have the part in stock so I have tape over my handle holding it in. Looks great!!!

I always knew you were holding your car together with duct tape!

Sucks to hear it, though....

That must be some sight with the Lambo doors. An exotic automobile with duct tape.

I'm suprise the dealer is replacing it, with all the additional pressure of having to lift the door
