Chiltons and other databases are provided by the Michigan eLibrary (MeL) free of charge. These are available only to Michigan residents and require a Michigan driver's license or state ID. Residents of other states should check there local library web site for this data base.
Repair information on most domestic and imported vehicles from 1954 to present; technical service bulletins and recalls; step by step photographs.
This is available through any local Library web site. I used the Oxford site but I am not an Oxford resident. Just need your state DL number.
This is really nice as there is a lot of information here on all models!

Good info and thanks for the tip!
While we are on the subject, the Farmington/Farmington Hills libraries have, in addition to
Chilton's, the
ALLDATA data base on line. I believe it can only be accessed from the library, not at home (unless you actually subscribe. Free at the library!).
ALLDATA is the leading provider of electronic diagnostic and repair information and services for the automotive service industry, including Manufacturer TSBs and recalls updated daily, OEM wiring diagrams with connector, ground, power distribution and splice locations, Maintenance tables, and automatic repair information updates .
