Can anyone shed some light on the dealer equipment listing that states:

U68 - DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER - WITH ELECTRONIC COMPASS

What does the COMPASS portion refer to ?

Depends on the context it is used. "Dealer equipment listing", makes me think a dealership's web site that might have it listed in a car's description. Most sites are run by third parties that pick up the codes and are not concerned with their acurate listings.

Basically it appears to refer to the RPO code and description for one of the GM vehicles that uses a DIC based Compass.

Which the Solstice does not.
