Does anyone have over 50.000 miles yet?

I recently bought a 06 N/A with 7K on it. I drive about 80 miles per day just driving to and back from work so I plan to put around 17.000 miles/year (discounting 4 months of winter), mostly highway miles.

I'm debating if I should get an extended warranty since the 06's came only with a 3/36.000 warranty. I haven't seen Solstices with more than 20K miles yet so I wonder as the miles pile over if I should expect problems to start showing up.

Does anyone driven more 50K miles (or close to that) on their Solstices yet, and if so, any problems?

Check with Gizmo, Aspenrose, Ex-Miata Man, and I'm sure there are others that aren't just quickly popping up in my mind. All of these are probably over 60,000 miles by now!

By the way, welcome to the forum and the world of the Permagrin!

Gizmo and Aspenrose both have over 50K on their cars now.....dont know of any problems other than those listed on the forum....07s and beyond came with the extended drive train warranty....that might be the only reason you would consider an extended warranty...

You could probably add Solli to that list and MomSol if you want to count more than one car...

64,800+ and not looking back!!!!

I've had very few problems with mine that were related to anything that GM had anything to do with.

59,805 on mine, only real issue has been the diff issues, all others were self-inflicted

64,000 on Pop's car. Daily commute of 70 miles round trip plus road trips. Only problems have been pinion seal and gas cap. Mine was purchased in March '06.

Not quite keeping up with the rest of the bunch, but we have 42K on an 06 that is now 2yrs and 5 mos. old.
Like the rest have reported, no big problem other than the differential issues that seem to have been corrected.
I did purchase an extended when it was new, 6 yr./72k.
Looks like the 72k will get here long before the 6 yrs.

OH come on everyone I am catching up and mine is a 2007 almost at 61k anything that could go wrong has and continues to. It is in the shop getting a new diff as we speak.

Remember I won the most miles for the 2007 Nashville Nationals. This time next year I plan on having the most miles on a kappa period
